These filters are used whenever it is necessary to abtain very limpid filtrates, especially starting from very diluted slurries. These are batch filters as the filter aid precoat is gradually removed by a scraper blade with micrometric advancement. Our blade advancement system is independent of drum rotation. In such a way the consumptions of filter aid and the time used to restore the precoat are greatly reduced.
