These are continuous filters with discharge by means of a rigid blade or by a pressure roller with the help of air pressure. The filtering cloths are placed on the drum and are kept in place by rigid stainless steel rods, avoiding the expensive process of wire binding.
This system allows a total separation of the cake from the cloth, even in the case of a thin cake. The whole filtering surface is used, the cloth is completely cleaned and there is a great reduction of manpower cost for the replacement of the cloth.
A simple decive, placed under the discharging blade, allows the washing of the cloth, increasing the filtration efficiency and making the cleaning easier. These filters, if required, can be manufactured (as a special feature) with hood sealing or with special slurry spatters.
